the Caouette
MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

was developed by the Caouette family in memory of Bernie Caouette
who passed away in June, 2006, from cancer.  Bernie, a retired Captain from Acton (MA) Fire Department, was the builder of
Caouette Banjos .  This scholarship is available to deserving students wishing to further their education in a Music career and/or children of fire department personnel. (scholarship application)

We held a Bluegrass Benefit Show in Oct, 2006, that was an overwhelming success!  With the proceeds from that show & the many generous donations received,
we have been able to award six $1000. scholarships so far.
